Awesome place with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a fantastic outdoor swimming pool. The staff helped me find transport on my first stay. I can't wait to return for a romantic escape!

Great for Road Trips with Pets

I really enjoyed my stay here while traveling with my two small dogs. the pet-friendly policy was a huge plus! The rooms were large and exceptionally clean, and being able to park right outside my room made loading and unloading so easy. The breakfast options were plentiful and good quality, which made for a great start to the day.

The check-in was welcoming even at 2 a.m., and the friendliness of the maid service was a pleasant surprise. However, the room had a dusty, neglected feel to it, making it less inviting. While the breakfast was satisfying, featuring a full spread with eggs, bacon, and waffles, the overall cleanliness could use improvement. Great parking available for towing vehicles was a plus, but some minor upkeep is needed in the rooms.

Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that my booked room was not available, and the substitute room had an overpowering smell. I politely inquired at the front desk and was told it was due to new carpeting, but I found that hard to believe. After spending 30 minutes unpacking, my husband and I went through the hassle of moving to the correct room, which should not have been necessary.

We checked out Santee Cooper Country Club for some golf and the staff at the hotel were super helpful. The rooms had outside access, which felt safe during our stay. Breakfast was quick and easy, perfect before hitting the road!

The bathroom could definitely use an update. The toilet felt a bit low and was rusty where the shower rod was attached.

I had the coziest stay in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds! The staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I loved grabbing breakfast with delightful options like pancakes and biscuits, and the outdoor heated pool was a perfect way to cool off after a long drive.

The hot breakfast exceeded my expectations with a great variety. The friendly server made dining a pleasant experience. It was also convenient to walk to Captain's Plate for an excellent dinner.
